The documentary-film Greymatter Bergen (29min), made by architectural office LOCAL, focuses on the meeting with seniors in Bergen, where new forms of how to live together and grow old in shared housing are investigated.
The film takes a positive look at aging, and was shown during Oslo triennale 2022 and Norwegian International film festival this year, and the Biennale in Seoul in 2021, where it was named the winner of the Cross Roads prize.
The workshop continues with an interactive conversation about aging and community, bringing experience on a regional scale in Norway, Denmark & France, neighborhood activism, palliative care and end of life, and architecture for health.
